June 26 '05 Lots of new projects I'm working on and cd's coming up this year. First, 2005 will see the rerelease of 1994's 'Richie & Antti - Generator'. It was released by Mark Varney's Legato label back in '94, but disappeared after a couple of years when the label went bust. It took me and Antti Kotikoski a while to get the rights back for that album, but we managed, remastered it and are designing new covers now. The remaster sounds a lot better. I have been getting a million emails from people asking about that album, so we figured it makes sense to make it available again.
I have contributed a song from RHP to a Shawn Lane Tribute double cd entitled "One Truth"- A Tribute To Shawn Lane, available through Reward Records. Release date is expected to be within the next few weeks. All proceeds will go to Shawn's family.
The Alchemists II is coming! Part I was a huge succes, for part II there's a special surprise: there will be two guitar players on each song. I'm collaborating with Antti on a brand new song we're finishing up this month.
I will spend the coming months recording tracks for a brand new album with Antti called 'Insides'. Jaan Wessman (Mike Keneally) layed down bass tracks and Maik Schott recorded a great keyboard solo on 'New Day'. You can listen here.
And if that ain't enough, I'm also recording a song for Antti Kotikoski's new album he did with the fantastic drummer Marco Minnemann .(Paul Gilbert's latest album, a.o.) Marco is a truly creative guy and has been my favorite drummer now for quite a while, so I'm looking forward to shredding over his drumtracks. Seems like I'll be spending this summer in my studio!

March 19 '05 I wrote a song together with singer Monique Bakker for her new album that we will record the 31th of this month at Wisseloord Studios. We will be accompanied by Oscar Kraal on drums and Thomas Bank on Keys who are both from the Candy Dulfer band. Monique's album features some extra-special guests like Candy Dulfer who just recorded her parts last week. Monique is of course well known from her work and tours with Candy, Mendoza Dance Parti and besides that, she is one of my best friends from the past. We used to be in bands together when I was around 17 years old, so this will be a nice opportunity for us to finally do something together again. Coming week I'll also be busy rehearsing with The Flowriders (no more jokes about that name now) for the coming weekend were we'll perform twice at De Westergasfabriek, Maison Royale Festival.

Feb 28 '05 I have added 15 GB of RHP live clips at http://www.richardhallebeek.com/tour. It gives a good impression of the various sounds and atmospheres from the tour. We shot a DVD recording last week at the Gooiland theatre in Hilversum with a group I play with, called 'Behind The Scenes' with singer Monique Bakker.We play mainly in schools where we tell kids about producers, studios, recordings and that silly business of music. I have added some pictures on the photo pages (3rd page) from that event. Also added some photos from this weekend when we played with The Flowriders (no, that's not 'The Wildflowers') at the KNSM eiland, Loods 6. Upcoming dates for the Flowriders are:
