Ubisoft
has asked me to demonstrate their new 'game' that
will be released in september, called Jam
Sessions. Jam
Sessions is a ground-breaking music experience
that transforms the Nintendo DS system into a portable
guitar. You can literally strum the guitar via the
touch screen and select chords with the control pad.
A very fun way of keeping track of new song ideas
on the road, having a music station in your pocket!
We already did promotion gigs for the Dutch mags,
radio and some tv stations are next. Also some unannounced
guerilla
gigs will follow.
Better get my hair back...I will be doing around a
100 shows of the musical Hair.
It will run from sept '07 'till april '08. Playlist
and details on their website.
I grew up on that music, so can't wait to get
in there.
Lots of new reviews came in for The
Alchemists II. You can read those at the press
section here.
The National Popinstuut finally put me in their
books. Read here.
Thank you Erik de Jong and www.guitar-poll.com
for your work!
I've had lots of fun with my new Yamaha
G10 midicontroller from the 80's that I just bought
from the States. I already recorded some solos with
it and also plan to start using it on future projects
and on live gigs. Listen to my first solo on that
20 year old controller that still looks -and actually
is- futuristic here.
