Fractal Audio Preset Pack released!

I’ve designed a Fractal Audio Presets Pack featuring 168 different scenes, divided over 21 presets in collaboration with Thibault de Robillard (aka ‘Fremen’). The pack contains 21 preset with 8 different scenes each. Bursting with effects, alternate cab choices, Richard’s very own modeled HOOK Captain head with his personal settings and multiple delay choices. Presets inspired by the classic UD stomp settings are also included, as well as  presets with no amp modeling, that can  be used in the loop of a head or preamp when you are playing live with an amp. Also, 4CM (4 cable method) presets are included!

This package comes with a detailed full color booklet with text and photos, explaining every different scene and how the sound was designed.

All sounds are actual live and studio sounds that are used by Richard Hallebeek and can be used right out of the box and will surely inspire your playing and compositions!

Mixing live cd – new track!

I’m mixing my new live cd ‘ Richard Hallebeek Project – Live In Alphen’ and here’s a track that I just finished mixing called ‘Wristkiller’, written by FransVollink.
The cd will be an audio cd, but I though it would be fun to share the live audio with some of the videos I have from that evening. (not much!)
I’m loving the Soundtoys plugins for mixing, as well as the FAS-FX reverb and the TC Electronic Vintage Guitar Pedal Bundle.

Uploaded a new video – performing ‘Times Are Changing’ live with Amber Gomaa @ North Sea Jazz 2018, Martin Verdonk Master Sessions – sponsored by Yamaha. This was a fun event that was streamed live, recorded live! No overdubs.

New recordings finished – ‘Soundscapes’ for drummer Abel Sequera

I just finished recording guitar for a very cool conceptual cd called ‘Soundscapes’ from Spanish drummer Abel Sequera. Abel plays in DeathKeepers (featuring ex-Yngwie Malmsteen’s singer Michael Vescera) and ‘Soundscapes’ will have around 40 musicians, including:

New track ‘Calm Before The Storm’

Here’s a new track I recently recorded with Jeroen van Helsdingen (piano) called ‘Calm Before The Storm’. Jeroen has a nice spacious house with big windows overlooking the countryside and that surely inspired the atmosphere of this track. Our previous cd ‘Hels’ has been doing really well and as always I’m excited to share the new music with you! Look out for our new cd coming up this year.
